MIUI 9 ROM available for all compatible devices
After announcing MIUI 9 ROM in India back in November last year,Xiaomi noe rollsout MIUI 9 glaobal stable ROM for all compatible Xiaomi smartphones.Manu Kumar Jain,VP,India head of Xiaomi made an announcement about this.

@XiaomiIndia is committed to bringing the best and the latest OS to all our Mi Fans. That’s why we’re even updating the phones that were launched almost 4 years ago – Mi 3 and Redmi 1S.
This tweet means Xiaomi is updating some of ots oldest smartphones in its portfolio,including 4 year old Redmi 1S and Mi3.He also tell users to go MIUI forum link,where eligible can update their handsets.These include the Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi 4A, Redmi Note Prime, Mi 4i, Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, Redmi Note 4G, Redmi 1S, Redmi Note 3, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi Max, Mi Max Prime, Redmi Y1, Redmi Y1 Lite, Redmi 4, Mi 5, Mi MIX 2, Mi Max 2, Redmi Note 4 and for some of smartphone have already got their upgrade notification.
MIUI 9 has lots of new features and improvements for enhanced experience like shorcuts on home screen,split screen,smart functionality,new elaments,faster application loading time,smart launcher,samrt assistant which can be accessed on home screen by swiping up and some app animations ans new notification pop up and pannel makes this MIUI 9 ROM much better than previoun MIUI ROMs says Xiaomi.
How to upgrade this MIUI 9 ROM is quite simple,for some of the phones ,entioned above had already have an upgrade notification and if you won’t get notification ypou can check it manually by going through settings>about phone>system update.
